My love affair with makeup began as a way for me to express myself creatively. I believe make up is an art form that is organic and grows from my connection to my clients. My growth as a make up artist really started with wanting to enhance Natural Beauty of my Clients and in myself.
Professionally, I spent over four years interacting with vendors, artists, models, and clients with one of the country's most prestigious department stores, Nordstrom representing the international makeup brand, MAC Cosmetics. My time there taught me the importance of listening to clients and knowing how to help them achieve their dream looks.
As an Independent Freelance Makeup Artist, I have focused on bridal and commercial contract makeup for the past five years. Brides are so special to me. There is nothing that makes me happier than seeing a bride see her finished look on her wedding day and knowing she feels absolutely stunning.
Styling came very naturally to me. Growing up my Mother made all of my clothing. Everything was so organic and one of a kind. Those looks really followed me into my adult life. Being born and raised in Seattle gave me immediate access to music, art, media and fashion in the City. Seattle inspires so many of my Creative Visions with the cities history and Uniqueness. I love the feeling of getting dressed up just to go to the grocery store. Each creative project I do holds a special place in my heart. My love of fashion comes out everyday and I love sharing that with my clients.
